On-device reactions
Oneira's expressive reactions run on the device, so its face can respond without relying on a cloud request.

Connected beta features require the Oneira app, internet access, a compatible service, and permissions you approve. They can change and may not work with every service.
The short answer

Oneira Dream Big+
Small enough to look playful. Built with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus optional connected experiences you control.
Each $80 Founding Unit includes one Oneira device with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus the selected color and included eye set. The 1K camera is included; its final production module and other non-material production details may change before fulfillment. Optional connected services, provider accounts, usage, and third-party fees are separate.

Inspect the hardwareOptional compatible connected services can extend Oneira when you choose. Setup, permissions, internet access, provider terms, and usage costs remain separate. Connected experiences work only with compatible services the owner deliberately configures. Oneira does not connect automatically to every service.
See compatible connectionsCompatible connected tools are optional and owner-configured. Nothing is preconfigured, and universal compatibility is not promised.
See connected featuresThe 1K camera supports deliberate, owner-triggered experiences. Optional Dream creation can transform a photo when the owner chooses it.

Portable vision
Sight is designed around one frame and one short response. That can help identify the kind of scene, read visible text, or provide brief object and task guidance without turning every moment into a recording archive.
Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. Avoid private documents, credentials, faces, addresses, and sensitive spaces.
Data path
The Oneira hardware initiates the interaction and shows a concise result. The optional connected service handles the request over the internet.
JML does not store the Sight frame or reply in this release, but connected processing still applies. Owners should read the active service policy before use.
Safe use
Blur, glare, small type, poor framing, model limits, and ambiguity can produce confident errors. Verify prices, ingredients, directions, dates, warnings, and instructions through an authoritative source.
Do not use Sight for emergencies, medical or legal decisions, identity, access control, navigation, or safety-critical action.
Portable vision / point, choose, then verify
Oneira Sight is a Connected beta visual-help experience with a deliberately small contract: the owner triggers one frame, chooses notice, read, or help, and receives a short response through an optional connected service. The core Oneira character remains separate and motion-reactive on-device. This is not a continuous camera, background recorder, identity system, or a promise that every image question can be answered. Good framing, legible details, a working network, and the behavior of the active service all affect whether the response is useful.
Privacy begins before the shutter. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. Sensitive documents, private messages, credentials, addresses, faces, and intimate spaces are poor candidates for a connected request. A concise response can still be wrong, so important facts need independent verification. Optional compatible connected tools and services are real Connected beta integrations through the app, separate from Sight, and need their own setup. Translation and creator assistance remain in development.
Decision framework
The strongest request is narrow: notice the kind of object, read a clearly visible line, or ask for brief guidance about a low-stakes task. A vague scene, a cluttered frame, or a high-consequence decision is a poor fit for a one-frame assistant. Choose the mode and frame deliberately rather than treating the camera as ambient context.
Questions, answered
Sight can use one deliberate frame for a short notice, read, or help response. Results depend on framing, legibility, the active provider, and network access.
No. Sight is not a background camera or life-logging feature; the owner starts each frame.
The visual request uses an optional connected service over the internet. The expression layer is the part that runs locally.
No certification or accessibility guarantee is claimed. Buyers with low-vision or other accessibility needs should compare purpose-built, supported devices.

Consent applies to people nearby, not only to the owner holding the device. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. If that agreement is incomplete, private, pressured, or uncertain, do not take the frame. An intentional capture rule is meaningful only when it changes behavior in shared spaces.
Connected visual help can fail because of glare, blur, framing, small type, ambiguous objects, or service limits. Use the response as brief assistance, then verify prices, dates, directions, warnings, ingredients, instructions, and any important claim with an authoritative source. It is not appropriate for emergency, medical, legal, identity, navigation, or safety decisions.
A single-frame short-response device is a different category from a dedicated camera, scanner, text-to-speech reader, navigation aid, or certified accessibility product. If repeatable capture, offline operation, formal support, high reliability, or full document handling is essential, compare purpose-built equipment rather than stretching a pocket companion beyond its stated role.
