For Oneira, the decision should begin with the demonstrated Working today behavior: an on-device motion-reactive animated face. Treat every technical detail as useful only when its publication status is equally clear.
The same discipline applies to connected behavior. Sight is Connected beta, initiated by an owner-triggered single frame through an optional connected service. It does not record in the background. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. JML does not store the frame or reply in this release. Those are interaction and privacy facts, not permission to infer unlisted performance, retention, or service-selection details.
A responsible specifications comparison also keeps software status out of the hardware column. Translation and creator assistance are In development. Optional compatible connected tools and services are Connected beta integrations requiring app setup, authentication, and permissions; no universal compatibility is promised.
