On-device reactions
Oneira's expressive reactions run on the device, so its face can respond without relying on a cloud request.

Oneira is an expressive pocket companion with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, 1K camera, local motion-reactive expression, and optional connected tools.
Product status
Working today means the expressive face has been demonstrated on a real Oneira device.
Connected beta features require the Oneira app, internet access, a compatible service, and permissions you approve. They can change and may not work with every service.
Translation, creator help, and photography coaching are in development—not included product promises.
Specific third-party connections, storage, places, events, and offers are roadmap ideas—not product promises. No release date is announced.
The short answer

Oneira Dream Big+
Small enough to look playful. Built with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus optional connected experiences you control.
Each $80 Founding Unit includes one Oneira device with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus the selected color and included eye set. The 1K camera is included; its final production module and other non-material production details may change before fulfillment. Optional connected services, provider accounts, usage, and third-party fees are separate.

Inspect the hardwareOptional compatible connected services can extend Oneira when you choose. Setup, permissions, internet access, provider terms, and usage costs remain separate. Connected experiences work only with compatible services the owner deliberately configures. Oneira does not connect automatically to every service.
See compatible connectionsCompatible connected tools are optional and owner-configured. Nothing is preconfigured, and universal compatibility is not promised.

Understand the agent pathLocal AI / working today
Tilt, movement, handling, and stillness shape Oneira's expression without requiring an internet request.
That local response is Oneira's foundation. The face keeps reacting even when an optional connected service or network connection is unavailable.
Real camera / working prototype
The working product includes a real 1K camera. Its internal implementation is private; the public promise is the camera capability and its clear owner-triggered boundary.
Sight still begins with an intentional action. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. Connected model processing and important-result verification remain separate boundaries.
Your stack / Connected beta
Optional compatible connected tools and services require intentional owner setup, internet access, suitable permissions, and their own accounts.
No third-party service is preconfigured, universal compatibility is not promised, and external rules, availability, security, and fees still apply.
Start with the object, not the promise
Oneira is best understood first as an expressive object you can carry, keep nearby, and react to. Its Working today foundation is a motion-reactive animated face that responds on the device itself. That is a different job from replacing a phone, becoming a general-purpose assistant, or filling every quiet moment with another feed. The useful question is whether a small, responsive character has a place in your actual day before any connected feature enters the picture.
Oneira Sight is a separate layer, labeled Connected beta. An owner deliberately starts a request, captures one frame, and receives a short notice, read, or help response through an optional connected service. Sight does not record in the background. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. JML does not store the frame or reply in this release. The beta label matters: the connected experience may change and should not be mistaken for on-device behavior.
Translation and creator assistance are In development rather than current buying criteria. Optional compatible connected tools and services are real Connected beta paths that an owner intentionally sets up in the app. They require a compatible service, deliberate permissions, and internet access; availability, terms, fees, and compatibility can change, and universal compatibility is not promised.

Decision framework
Start with the on-device motion-reactive face. If a small expressive companion would still feel welcome in your hand, pocket, or on a desk when you never make a connected request, the product's current foundation matches the reason you are considering it.
Sight begins only when an owner deliberately captures one frame; it is not background recording. Choose this model if a short response to a chosen moment is more appealing than a device designed to observe continuously or build a life log.
The face's motion reactions are Working today on-device behavior. Sight is Connected beta and may change. A good fit means you can value both honestly without treating the beta experience as if it were a permanently fixed, offline hardware capability.
Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. That standard makes this a better fit for someone willing to pause, ask, and keep sensitive spaces or documents out of frame instead of treating a friendly object as an exception to consent.
