On-device reactions
Oneira's expressive reactions run on the device, so its face can respond without relying on a cloud request.

Learn how Oneira can use optional compatible connected tools, what owners configure in the app, and which permission and availability limits apply.
Product status
Connected beta features require the Oneira app, internet access, a compatible service, and permissions you approve. They can change and may not work with every service.
The short answer

Oneira Dream Big+
Small enough to look playful. Built with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus optional connected experiences you control.
Each $80 Founding Unit includes one Oneira device with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus the selected color and included eye set. The 1K camera is included; its final production module and other non-material production details may change before fulfillment. Optional connected services, provider accounts, usage, and third-party fees are separate.

Inspect the hardwareOptional compatible connected services can extend Oneira when you choose. Setup, permissions, internet access, provider terms, and usage costs remain separate. Connected experiences work only with compatible services the owner deliberately configures. Oneira does not connect automatically to every service.
See compatible connectionsCompatible connected tools are optional and owner-configured. Nothing is preconfigured, and universal compatibility is not promised.
See connected featuresThe 1K camera supports deliberate, owner-triggered experiences. Optional Dream creation can transform a photo when the owner chooses it.

Understand the agent pathA simple flow
Select a compatible supported tool for one clear task
Check its account, destination, permissions, and possible fees
Begin a deliberate request and verify the result
Start with the task
A compatible connected tool should have one understandable job. The Oneira app should show which account or destination is involved before the owner authorizes it.
A friendly physical interaction does not grant blanket authority over files, messages, money, accounts, or external systems.
Separate service
Third-party accounts, service availability, permissions, terms, data handling, and possible fees remain separate from the $80 hardware purchase.
Universal compatibility is not promised. Check current Oneira app support and the selected service before depending on a workflow.
Security
A read-only lookup carries a different risk from a tool that sends email, changes files, or purchases something. Start with a result you can verify.
Use trusted services, narrow permissions, confirmation for sensitive changes, activity history, and easy revocation.
Connected tools / intentional input, narrow authority
A physical interface earns its place when it makes the beginning of a request obvious. Oneira's working-now behavior is still its motion-reactive character. In Connected beta, the Oneira app handles choosing a compatible destination, reviewing permissions, and starting a configured tool request. That is not a claim that every external tool will work.
Each third-party service keeps its own authentication, reliability, controls, data handling, and possible fees. The owner should know what data leaves the app and whether a result is informational or can change an external system. Sight is a separate Connected beta feature using an owner-triggered frame. Translation and creator assistance remain in development.
Decision framework
A good physical surface makes it visible when the user has asked for a connected action, what task is being attempted, and when the request is complete or blocked. Avoid designs that turn casual movement or an ambiguous gesture into an unreviewed tool call with unclear context.
Credentials, account selection, consent, permissions, and revocation belong in a setup surface large enough to inspect. Oneira uses the app for that Connected beta boundary. A pocket device should not be treated as proof that a connected service received authority it was never granted.
Questions, answered
No. Third-party accounts, plans, usage charges, availability, and terms remain separate unless explicitly stated otherwise.
No. A tool must be compatible with current Oneira app support and intentionally configured by the owner.
No. Owners must review and authorize the permissions required for each supported connection.
Begin with a narrow read-only lookup whose result you can verify before considering a tool that changes external data.
Oneira / current availability
500 Drop 01 units remain across 5 currently available colors. Availability is confirmed when secure checkout begins.
Preorder a Founding Unit · $80Oneira's focused helpers have narrow, visible limits. Broader research, coding, and approved-workspace actions remain in development.
A category label is not a universal compatibility guarantee. A usable setup depends on current Oneira app support, authentication, permissions, network access, service terms, and availability. Test the exact tool and task you need before building a routine around it.
A weather lookup and an action that sends, edits, publishes, purchases, or deletes are not comparable risks. Start with a read-only, verifiable result. For consequential actions, require a visible destination, narrow credentials, clear confirmation, useful logs, and a simple way to revoke the connection later.
