What is available now?

  • Working today

Working today means the expressive face has been demonstrated on a real Oneira device.

  • Connected beta

Connected beta features require the Oneira app, internet access, a compatible service, and permissions you approve. They can change and may not work with every service.

The short answer

Oneira can clip to a bag, belt, or key loop, but it is not a location tracker or a blind mini camera. It is an expressive screen-based companion with deliberate connected features.

Oneira Dream Big+

A local AI powerhouse in a star.

Small enough to look playful. Built with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus optional connected experiences you control.

Each $80 Founding Unit includes one Oneira device with a dual AI chip, OLED screen, and 1K camera, plus the selected color and included eye set. The 1K camera is included; its final production module and other non-material production details may change before fulfillment. Optional connected services, provider accounts, usage, and third-party fees are separate.

On-device

On-device reactions

Oneira's expressive reactions run on the device, so its face can respond without relying on a cloud request.

Optional connected services

Optional compatible connected services can extend Oneira when you choose. Setup, permissions, internet access, provider terms, and usage costs remain separate. Connected experiences work only with compatible services the owner deliberately configures. Oneira does not connect automatically to every service.

Why a keychain form

The best companion is the one that leaves the desk.

A carry loop makes the character part of a bag, belt, or daily kit instead of another object that waits beside a monitor. Motion during the day becomes input for the face.

Oneira is palm-sized rather than AirTag-sized. Treat the loop as a carry point and follow final production guidance rather than loading it like a structural safety attachment.

What it is not

Not a tracker. Not a hidden recorder.

Oneira does not advertise GPS item finding, covert recording, or continuous life logging. Sight begins with a deliberate capture and provides a short visual response.

That distinction matters in public: a visible character with a clear action should not behave like an invisible sensor collecting everyone nearby.

What makes it intelligent

The app connects a small object to a chosen tool.

The companion layer stays focused on expressions and brief interactions. When intentionally invoked, the app can route a request to optional compatible connected tools or services you configure.

Provider accounts, compatibility, permissions, and fees vary; the keychain form does not grant a service automatic access.

Pocket character / decide by the small moment

A keychain-sized AI companion should earn its place without becoming another phone.

A compact companion works best when it delivers a fast, understandable interaction while you are already moving through the day. Oneira approaches that role as expressive hardware: motion shapes the on-device character, so a tilt, carry, or set-down can produce a small response without opening a feed or managing a care schedule. The appeal is not a miniature computer that tries to replace a phone; it is a physical object that has a recognizable point of view.

The AI part needs an equally narrow definition. Sight is Connected beta visual help, not a permanently active assistant: the owner initiates a single frame, chooses a clear mode, and receives a short connected response. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. Translation and creator workflows are in development. Optional compatible connected tools and services are Connected beta integrations configured intentionally through the app with permissions; service availability can change, and no universal compatibility is promised.

Decision framework

What makes a small companion worth carrying

  1. 01

    A reason to touch it

Look for an interaction that is satisfying in seconds, rather than a list of phone-like utilities that asks you to stare longer at another screen. Oneira’s core reason is motion-reactive expression, which is distinct from trying to compress every app into hardware.

Questions, answered

The details that decide a purchase.

Is Oneira small enough for a keychain?+

Oneira is palm-sized and includes a carry-loop form intended for bags, belts, or key loops. Final measurements and carry guidance remain pending production publication.

Can Oneira find lost keys?+

No GPS or item-tracker function is advertised. Oneira is an expressive companion, not an AirTag-style locator.

Does the AI keychain record all day?+

No. Oneira Sight is based on a single deliberate owner-triggered frame, and the product is not marketed for continuous recording.

How much does Oneira cost?+

Each Drop 01 edition is $80 before applicable U.S. shipping and tax.

The honest boundary

Oneira's focused helpers have narrow, visible limits. Broader research, coding, and approved-workspace actions remain in development.

  • 02

    A role that stays small

Decide whether you want an expressive pocket object, a messaging device, a tracker, a camera, or a personal assistant. Those categories have different interfaces, responsibilities, and safety expectations; a companion should not be mistaken for all of them.

  • 03

    Intentional visual help

If visual AI matters, judge it by the actual flow: owner-triggered frame, one mode, short reply, verification when details matter. Sight is not a continuous camera, navigation system, identity system, or replacement for specialized assistance.

  • 04

    Comfort in public

A device carried around other people needs a simple consent rule, not a hidden capture model. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. Sight has no passive background recording and uses an optional connected service for each request.

  • Good fit

    Good fit if…

    • You like tactile, expressive objects that make ordinary movement feel a little more alive.
    • You want a companion experience that is intentionally smaller and calmer than a phone interface.
    • You can use optional Connected beta visual help responsibly, with consent and verification.

    Choose differently

    Choose something else if…

    • Choose a smartwatch or tracker if activity, notifications, health metrics, or location are your real priorities.
    • Choose a compact camera if photography, storage, optics, or documentation are the core job.
    • Choose a phone-based assistant if you need extensive typing, navigation, messaging, or a full app ecosystem.
