Several Oneira specifications are intentionally marked pending production measurement or validation. Closing those fields should be a documented engineering step, not a copywriting exercise. The published number needs a defined sample, instrument, configuration, and tolerance.
Measure the configuration customers receive
Dimensions and weight should come from assembled production-representative units. Packaged shipping measurements belong in fulfillment documentation and should not be substituted for the bare product size.
Define electrical and runtime conditions
Battery capacity should identify the cell configuration and rating method. Runtime should identify brightness, animation state, connectivity, request frequency, temperature, and end condition. Charging results should name the power source and cable assumptions. A range can be more informative than one ideal maximum.
Update every surface from one source
When validation is complete, the product page, edition pages, support content, structured data, checkout disclosures, packaging, and warranty references should draw from the same controlled specification. A stale measurement in one location can undermine an otherwise careful launch. Record the effective date so future revisions remain traceable.
The short version
- Measure complete production-representative units, not shells or ideal prototypes.
- Publish runtime with workload and test conditions.
- Update product, support, checkout, and packaging from one controlled source.
