Use expression as a break, not a demand
The on-device face can offer a small visual change of pace between tasks without requiring a social feed, streak, or care penalty. Put it away when a classroom, lab, exam, or instructor policy requires devices to be off. A respectful product habit begins with the rules of the shared space.
Use Sight only where capture is allowed
Read mode can return a short reading of visible text, while notice and help modes return other bounded replies. It does not replace a full document scanner, professional translation, or an accessibility accommodation. Never capture an exam, private record, another student, or restricted material, and obtain agreement from everyone visible.
Keep school and personal accounts separate
A school may restrict optional connected tools and services. Before connecting anything, check the institution's technology and data rules. Use only accounts you are authorized to connect, grant the narrowest permissions that work, and assume service terms and fees remain separate from the Oneira hardware purchase.
