Remote work can turn every device into a dashboard. Oneira offers a different role: a small expressive object first, with connected tools available when a specific request justifies them. That distinction matters when work accounts, confidential information, and shared home spaces are involved.

Let the face stay non-instrumental

Not every object on a desk needs to measure output. Oneira's animated expression can exist without tracking focus time, ranking tasks, or creating a performance score. That makes it useful as a visual presence precisely because it does not have to become a manager, timer, or notification mirror.

Protect work information

Do not point Sight at customer records, private messages, credentials, unreleased work, or a meeting screen without the required workplace authorization. Everyone present must agree before an owner-triggered Sight capture. Sight uses an optional connected service, so a camera action can have data-handling consequences even when it feels small.

Connect agents with the least access possible

An agent or connected service can only be as trustworthy as its permissions, operator, and downstream services. Begin with a low-risk test account, inspect the tool list, and avoid write access until the workflow is understood. Oneira provides the interface; it does not erase your organization's security requirements.

The short version

  • Oneira can be expressive without scoring productivity.
  • Keep confidential work out of owner-triggered captures unless authorized.
  • Start connected tools with low-risk accounts and minimal access.
