Oneira can use optional compatible connected tools after the owner configures them in the app. A connection can add a defined capability, but it does not make every service trustworthy, supported, or appropriate.
The external service is configured separately
No third-party service is bundled with the hardware. The owner chooses a currently supported connection in the app and remains responsible for its account, authentication, data handling, availability, terms, and possible fees.
Read access and write access are different risks
A search tool may expose private data, while a create, update, send, or delete tool can change external state. Start with read-only access on a limited account. Add write capability only when the confirmation step, target, audit trail, and recovery path are understood. Never treat a friendly tool label as proof of narrow permission.
Connection quality is part of the experience
A slow, unavailable, or incorrectly configured service can make a simple request fail. Test authentication, error messages, and revocation before daily use. Availability, permissions, service charges, and third-party support remain outside the $80 hardware price unless explicitly included.
The short version
- A supported connection does not guarantee trust.
- No third-party tool or service is preconfigured.
- Begin with read-only tools and limited accounts.
- Test authentication, errors, and revocation before relying on a service.
