Consumer hardware usually takes a whole company. Oneira needed industrial design, expressive firmware, a privacy story people could actually trust, and a commerce system that could sell a limited drop honestly — no fake scarcity, no dark patterns.
JML Tech Studios built the entire stack in-house: custom ESP32-S3 firmware with consent-gated voice and sight, a gamified bond engine, eight editions across soft-touch and machined finishes, real working-prototype photography, and a server-authoritative preorder platform with capacity holds, numbered units, and a live public counter.
